Five Levels of Organized — Built From Scratch

Custom Insert, Systainer³ M 437

Sometimes the best insert isn’t something you buy — it’s something you build. One of our community members needed a way to organize lighting parts in their Systainer³ M 437, so they made it themselves: five stackable wooden trays, each with finger-lift holes cut into the sides, built from Baltic birch.

The construction is straightforward — 1/8” bottoms, 1/4” sides, 3/8” front and back. Five levels of organization in one box. Everything visible, everything reachable, everything where it belongs.

If you’re a handyman running parts to jobs, or a woodworker who hates digging through bins, this is the kind of solution that takes an afternoon to build and pays off for years. The Systainer gives you the shell. You decide what goes inside.
