Here a user demonstrates a proof of concept. He loves the Bott products, but for his high roof Ford Transit van he wanted to have Systainers go to the top and the open bottom for materials. Therefore he designed racking with 15 (lite) Series aluminum extrusions. The Bott slides and other components are mounted to the racks.
T-maitc connectors are used for the extrusion connections. The user comments that the 10 series may have been too light duty and anything larger would be overkill.
