A SYS-Roll Stack with a Fold-Down Work Surface

On a job site, the tools you need are only useful if you can get at them. This stack keeps everything in a drawer or on top, and rolls to wherever the work is.
From the bottom up:
- a SYS-Roll
- a Systainer³ Sortainer/2 M 337
- a Systainer³ Sortainer/3 M 337
- two Systainer³ Organizer M 89 cases
- a Systainer³ ToolBag M on top
It’s a mix of TANOS and Festool systainers, and they lock together all the same.
Two small modifications
The Sortainer/3 carries a work surface on its side, mounted on fold-down brackets. It’s a piece of MDF with strips of wood around the edge, so fasteners set down on it can’t roll off. Folded out, it is just enough space for a tool or a handful of screws.
The Sortainer/2 has a couple of brackets for hanging tools, so a drill or a pair of gloves stays with the stack instead of on the floor.
