Systainer Modified for Bucket

Bucket, Mod, Hack, Dust Vac

This user took a dinged up Systainer³ M and modified it so that he could create a flat base to attach a bucket as part of his dust extraction.

The process:

1.Remove the lid, hing pins, front handle, etc. You want to ensure the product is clean and ready for cutting down.

2.You will want to use a table saw with a tall fence and a fine cutting blade like the Freud thin kerf.

3.Attach the systainer to a backer to create a solid reference that will run along the tall fence.

4.Saw around the systainer. As you go shim out the cut sides so as to not create pinch points.

5.Once complete, mount it as you see fit and continue with any other modification.
