Two Rolling Cabinets of SYS-AZ Drawers

Most Systainer storage is about stacking. This user went the other way and built two hardwood cabinets where every case sits on its own SYS-AZ pull-out drawer, so nothing has to come off the top of anything else.

The left cabinet carries four Festool Systainers under a shop-made drawer at the top — the one part of the setup that isn’t a Systainer, sized to match and fitted with a pull. The right cabinet runs five cases, including a black Festool and an orange Fein in the middle of the stack. Different brands, same footprint, same drawer.

Both are on locking castors, which is the actual point. This user likes things on wheels: the cabinet goes to the bench rather than the tool being carried back to the cabinet.
