Domino swap to Systainer³

Fitout By Jack's Cool Designs

Domino, Kaizen Foam, Systainer³ M 187, Light Grey Systainer, Systainer³ XXS 33, 3D Print

My Domino came in an original generation 1 Systainer, and I wanted to swap it over to a generation 3 systainer. A Systainer³ M 187 was picked. I used 57mm Kaizen foam from Fastcap, and the Systainer Gen 3 Lid Foam from Systainer USA.

The Domino systainer foam is cut to receive the DF500 machine, the cross stops, the trim stop, a TSO BigFoot, as well as a Systainer³ XXS with a 3D printed insert I designed to store the Domino cutters and wrench.

I used the Festool branded XXS, the Tanos version from Systainer USA also works.

The STL for the insert is available for free at: https://www.printables.com/model/509954-festool-domino-micro-systainer-bit-case

I also sell the insert on Etsy if you don’t have a 3D printer: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1507979093/festool-domino-systainer-insert

I also swapped my Dominos from their generation 1 systainer into a generation 3 organizer, and used odd sized 3D printed insert boxes to maximize storage. The STLs for those are available at: https://www.printables.com/model/553905-systainer3-organizer-bins
