Everyday Carry - Festool Toprock

Sys Tim took a Festool Toprock and modified it to work as his everyday carry. This means he included the tools and items he needs at just about every task.

Starting on the lid are Pica Markers and accessories. Every project needs some sort of marking and this set offers a durable lead pencil in various colors, a white marker and a crayon, of sorts. This set came in a binder and it was modified to lay flat and attach to the lid with some longer screws.

Next, in the base, are the measuring and inspection tools. This includes a Komelon tape measure, a Milwaukee Rover flashlights (USB charging), a Milwaukee Flashlight (USB charging), a Bosch laser distance measuring tool, the Storm2 rechargeable battery pack, charging cables and some basic PPE like safety glasses and gloves. Also included is a Milwaukee Fastback Utility Knife.

On the outside of the unit a Quadlock phone mount is fitted, so he can mount and see his phone and not have it in his pocket. This enables hands free operation when doing messy jobs too. See the list of Quadlock items below. Custom cards are made for the card slot and direct to film printing was used to accomplish the logo on the handle.
